the crowd! every single seat and floor ticket was sold out. and i think some girl said they oversold the floor tickets

you really cant see it well, but this is when they turned off all the house lights and everyone held out their cel phones and lighters. it was quite a sight.

me being a retard when green day was playing

Highlights: (at least for me)

-the lead singer from green day called up a little 5 year old kid to play guitar. later he gave him his guitar!
-some girl had to be pulled out after JEW performed from being thrashed or fatigue or something. and her shirt said greenday on it so it sucks she got pulled out before her band could come on
-fireworks! big tv screens! pyrotechnics! water guns! a drunk bunny
-looking at the entire crowd around me holding up all their cel phones and lighters when the entire house lights were blacked out.
-this was the closest i was to JEW! oh yea... and green day (haha jk, i love them both)

Hah, thanks! Got a kick out of that!

Transplants were originally scheduled to open but for whatever reason they cancelled which was a shame since there could have been a potential Tim Armstrong appearance when Green Day does their cover of Op Ivy "Knowledge." Instead we got Against Me and they weren't bad. Show started early than I thought. Against Me was on stage 6:45pm and show ticket says 7pm show. Was soooo excited to see Jimmy Eat World since it'd been months since seeing them. They rocked as usual! I was so excited!!!! "So come on Billie, sing me something..." on A Praise Chorus! Jim missed a line on Sweetness and Tom laughed. I don't remember the exact setlist, but it's probably the same as the others. This night we got Blister instead of 23! During the set, the crowd around me was well-behaved which was nice. It was really cute and funny when these little 10 year old boys were asking me permission to get in front of me. I said there was no room, but they continued asking me and others around when we were clearly into JEW's set.

Green Day was entertaining as usual. The explosions, though, were really scary! Maybe cuz we were so close to Compton and I kept thinking they were gunshots. Got treated to 2 pre-Dookie songs!! 2000 Light Years Away and Knowledge (Op Ivy cover). Great night overall.

No one mentioned this yet.. and definately my favortite part of the show.

Rick singing solo on parts of Sweetness. That was well worth the godawful lineage outside, and the lamosity of starting the show almost half an hour before the ticketed time.

I was in line for the metal detectors when they started, and didn't hit the floor until about 3, or 4 songs in.. so the set seemed extra short. It's ok though, I'll get to see Jim do a solo show out here, finally, soon.

This is what I think the set list was, and definately not in order.

Futures tease
Bleed American
Pain
A Praise Chorus
Blister
Work
Get it Faster
Futures
The Middle
Sweetness

Pretty much the same rough list from the other shows.

Green Day was good, I'm not the biggest fan of their live shows, although they do go all out. I'm just not a fan of almost every song being extended from 3-4 minutes to damn near 10 (you know, Heeeeeyyyyy- ooooohhhh at least 4 times, not counting the shorter heys and what not)

The fire works, and just fire in general were cool. Got myself a posket full o'cornfetti I dids.

Next stop, Mesa Field!

Yeah, he's been singing solo on that part for a while, but this time I could clearly hear it!

Yeah that got annoying....I thought how many times can he ask the crowd to say HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.....HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
